FYI - Updated the /opt/local/etc/macports/sources.conf and replaced this line rsync://rsync.macports.org/release/tarballs/ports.tar [default]

with this http://www.macports.org/files/ports.tar.gz [default]

Looks like the mirrors have only cadaver 0.23.2.tar.gz, and osl.no.distfiles.macport.org seems to be completely dead.

Moreover, the master site isn't reachable either at the moment:

$ curl webdav.org
curl: (7) Failed to connect to webdav.org port 80: Connection refused

The port has been updated in May, why is the latest version not on the mirrors?

As a workaround you can try to download the source from e.g. https://fossies.org/linux/www/cadaver-0.23.3.tar.gz to /opt/local/var/macports/distfiles/cadaver/

Thanks , do I need to extract and copy the contents of cadaver-0.23.3 folder inside the /opt/local/var/macports/distfiles/cadaver/?

No, downloading should be enough

Thanks , I downloaded the cadaver-0.23.3.tar into /opt/local/var/macports/distfiles/cadaver/ I opened a new terminal and tried to use cadaver but command not found . Should I have to do anything else after downloading the file ?

Sujay-mac:~ lakshmi$ sudo cadaver https://stbeehive.oracle.com Password: sudo: cadaver: command not found Sujay-mac:~ lakshmi$

Yes: sudo port install cadaver

The original install command fails during the fetch phase, but the remaining phases still need to be executed. Read here: https://guide.macports.org/chunked/reference.phases.html

Sujay-mac:~ lakshmi$ sudo cadaver https://stbeehive.oracle.com Password: sudo: cadaver: command not found Sujay-mac:~ lakshmi$

As webdav.org is still down, i'm going to change the master site

In 6f98780761470186ff78a874290d4b9dce0888fc/macports-ports:

cadaver: change master_sites to fossies.org as webdav.org is down
