json-c @0.13-20171207 +universal: cannot determine a size for long

Description

Building json-c with the universal variant now fails: 

checking size of long... configure: error: cannot determine a size for long

(json-c @0.12.1-20160607 built fine with the universal variant.)

If json-c is going to be checking such sizes at configure time, that's a pretty strong indication that it should be using the muniversal portgroup.
