The currently available version of py-pymysql on pypi is 0.8.0. Updating the version number and checksum appears to be all that is required to update this port. After updating I ran two simple "connect" tests that worked:

  1. TCP: localhost, port 3306,
  2. unix_socket.

A diff for the Portfile is attached.
