This is an error I received while installing gnu radio. 

Error: Failed to build db48: command execution failed
Error: See /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_distfiles.macports.org_ports_databases_db48/db48/main.log for details.

Error: Processing of port gnuradio failed

Please use wiki formatting, and add the port maintainer e-mail to the CC field.

e.g. use port info --maintainer db48 to find maintainer address.

Can't reproduce. It looks like your ports tree hasn't been synced lately.

That error should have been fixed by this commit, so as Joshua says, try to update and then reinstall it.
