Description
This patch upgrades port:xorg-server-devel to the latest version that can be built with released versions of all proto header packages.
It includes a simple change that introduces +dri2 and +dri3 variants. Built with those variants I no longer see the DRI authentication error messages when connecting from Linux.
Is there a reason why these features were disabled, btw?

xorg-server-devel in the repo is now at 1.20.1, so this is outdated -- but I like your code-signing idea and I wonder if we should implement that?

Upstream is at 2.8.5, which should work on 10.9+. Perhaps xorg-server-devel should be updated to that.

What upstream? gitlab.freedesktop.org has the version at 21.0.99.1 ...

Replying to RJVB:
What upstream? gitlab.freedesktop.org has the version at 21.0.99.1 ...
OOok, you meant the github:XQuartz/xorg-server repo, which is now at 2.8.6 beta2 AKA 14 commits after 21.1.8 according to the "real" upstream versioning.
@jeremyhu : which patches currently in port:xorg-server-devel are still relevant? Only some have clearly been incorporated.

Apologies, I submitted this from an outdated copy and forgot about a useful additional change:
localhost:0.0! It is enough to use the default signing identity for this purpose.
