Installing Gimp via MacPorts on High Sierra (Gimp do not launch or disappear)

Description

I have done all the pre installation to install MacPorts and Gimp

Xcode 9 for os 13.6 Xcode command line tools

as i have run : sudo port install gimp

everything looks fine, but as i launch Gimp in macports folder i got this message in console : 

CHECKIN:0x0-0x71071 1135 org.gimp.GIMP

Failed to connect (cancelButton) outlet from (ScriptExecController) to (NSButton): missing setter or instance variable

Failed to connect (messageTextField) outlet from (ScriptExecController) to (NSTextField): missing setter or instance variable

MessageTracer: load_domain_whitelist_search_tree:73: Search tree file's format version number (0) is not supported

I have just check the version of gimp installed this is this one : 

The following ports are currently installed:
  gimp @2.10.6_0 (active)
  gimp2 @2.10.6_1+python27 (active)

Is there any possibility to get this problem solved ?

This ticket is three years old, and refers to a much older version of GIMP. I've also been using MacPorts GIMP on High Sierra for at least two years, without an issue... and I'm reasonably confident this was fixed in later versions. Closing.
