Description

Trying to install npm6 fails: 

$ port install npm6

I haven't yet followed the steps in that wiki entry (as I haven't touched the computer in question since the comment was posted), but if the wiki entry is accurate, then it seems to me that MacPorts should detect this issue and offer the suggestion to the user directly.
