Pushed [c6b74d37a1c177c0a02c993da7a9b9b621a990ee/macports-ports] which sets supported_archs correctly. Doesn't really help you at all, but it makes the current situation clear. Latest word from developers is "We have been working on 64-bit support since 110.82 we expect to have it in place before the release of macOS 10.15."
