textmate still is at the version that is marked as the last stable release on GitHub and that what we've been told to package. Plus it's a major hassle to follow upstream development releases, so I'm not going to spend time on this unless upstream marks a new RC as stable.
Feel free to convince me otherwise by opening a PR.
