libunwind fails to build on 10.14 due to default +universal

Description

Error: libunwind cannot be installed for the configured universal_archs 'x86_64 i386' because it only supports the arch(s) . Error: Follow ​https://guide.macports.org/#project.tickets to report a bug. Error: Processing of port libunwind failed

I do as I am told. Trying to configure on Mac OS Mojave. Brigitte

Reopening to revert. That isn’t the proper fix. Base should report if the user has a misconfigured universal_archs.
