Maintainer (Jason) left a comment a #47985 suggesting tpkg be deleted.

Jason, are you still interested in maintaining the etch port, and/or is there reason to delete it? It might be outdated: it is currently at version 3.20.1 (released 2012), but there appear to be more recent versions and development available on GitHub: https://github.com/etch/etch

I would delete delete the etch port as well. I don't know of any active users of etch, and even when there were active etch users I think I was the only one using the macport.

In f4ad27cdaa7d34828b602236cbb86730afd065f1/macports-ports (master):

tpkg: delete port

Upstream project is dormant. A port abandoned ticket was opened;
the author of tpkg, who also used to maintain this port,
responded suggesting that this port be deleted.
