The buildbot workers couldn't build this either.

The error in the log is:

:debug:destroot couldn't read file "/opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_tarballs_ports_python_py-eyed3/py27-eyed3/work/eyeD3-0.8.11/bin/eyeD3": no such file or directory

I agree; there is no such file.

Eric, any idea how you were able to build this when nobody else can?

I was lazy and trusted the updated package would build but didn't test it.

Now after installing it I can't make it run.

Update is reverted in commit 923745d771df7b6014486a70fc60a8a0f3c300d5 and I'll reopen the update ticket.

I'm very sorry about that!
