Description
libXext is looking for libreadline7 during the configuration step, but my MacPorts distribution already has libreadline8. I was able to complete the installation by doing "ln -s libreadline.8.dylib libreadline.7.dylib"

Sorry, I don't have the log. I upgraded my distribution to 2.6.2 and the error does not appear anymore.
