Transient network problem? These files download correctly for me, using stand-alone curl command. Also I can view the directory listing straight from the curl base link that you showed above. Please try again.

Description: modified (diff)
Keywords: Mojave ver. 10.14.6 removed

It says:

502 Proxy Error

Is this a proxy server on your end? If so, is it configured correctly?

Peter replied by email:

This is not the only error. Also in office and on another mac computer using another network I get similar errors. See this, which occured at my work office just now when trying to upgrade outdated:

--->  Computing dependencies for bison
--->  Fetching archive for bison
--->  Attempting to fetch bison-3.6.4_0.darwin_18.x86_64.tbz2 from http://cph.dk.packages.macports.org/bison
--->  Attempting to fetch bison-3.6.4_0.darwin_18.x86_64.tbz2.rmd160 from http://cph.dk.packages.macports.org/bison
Warning: Failed to verify signature for archive!
Error: Failed to archivefetch bison: version @3.6.4_0
Error: See /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_macports_release_tarballs_ports_devel_bison/bison/main.log for details.
Error: Follow https://guide.macports.org/#project.tickets to report a bug.

Normally things go smoothly, but this is the first time I get such errors. I don’t think the proxy error is related to the network at my end.

Peter, we agree; we think the cph.dk mirror has corrupted data. See #60799. We have removed that mirror from the list until that can be fixed.

Hi Guys,

First off, - sorry for the trouble with the mirror!

I've had a look at the system, and it's the frontend proxy causing these issues.

It's been disabled, and traffic diverted around it.

I am unable to reproduce error now. Could you please recheck?

Kind regards

Thanks Mikael. The curl and harfbuzz-icu packages that were problematic before seem OK now. I'll reinstate the mirror and hopefully the users who reported the issue can confirm the fix as well.
