Hello,
i was trying to install mpv with home-brew as suggested here
https://www.svp-team.com/wiki/SVP:Mac
but miserably failed on Mac OS X ElCapitan.
Is there a possibility to activate mpv with vaporsynth on MacPorts?

I suppose a port for vapoursynth would have to be created first.

on ubuntu 20.04 it is quite easy to build with vapoursynth support following the instructions here
https://www.svp-team.com/wiki/SVP:Linux
but it is tricky on earlier editions;
svp4mac suggests it could run on mac os x 10.11+ but it seems more probable that newer version is required (10.13 or 10.14).
