Description
I have attached a text file with the errors generated from the terminal output. I am using macOS 10.15.6 and Xcode 11.7.

I don't think this will ever get fixed. See #52398. I believe the replacement is webkit2-gtk.

can you tell us how it came to pass that you were asked to install that port? We should put our effort there to fix that.

It is a dependency of the “fancy” variant of the port claws-mail.

I see there is active work going on for the gtk3 branch of claws-mail <https://git.claws-mail.org/?p=claws.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/gtk3>.
Not sure if it is buildable yet.
If you need a newsreader, you can use pan2, FYI.

the fancy plugin on the gtk3 branch is using a current webkit2-gtk version...
