sudo port install mplayer +universal ---> Computing dependencies for MPlayer Error: Cannot install libxml2 for the archs 'arm64 x86_64' because Error: its dependency icu cannot build for the required archs. Error: Follow https://guide.macports.org/#project.tickets to report a bug. Error: Processing of port mplayer failed

I am presently updating icu to build universal on arm64/x86_64.
I took maintainership of icu 2 days ago, and have had this fixed for a long time for myself.
Now to sell a fix to MacPorts that is generally acceptable for the broader masses.
