    1 I ran into this problem of `MPI_CXX` not being defined again when trying to install all my ports on a new computer. I had to run that `port select --set mpi openmpi-mp-fortran` command again to get the netcdf version 4.8.0 to build. Fortunately, I was able to find this issue and see what I did before. It seems this needs to be included in the netcdf port somehow.
