     1It looks like the compatibility version was just wrong before; now we have all this software built against libsndfile.1.dylib with a compatibility version of 2.0.0 that we have to deal with.

    2 how about we fix up the compatibility version to be as it was before (2.0.0) and then see where we wind up.
