ZSH: Failed to destroot zsh on macos 13.0 (22A380)

Description

on trying to install zsh i get a failure message:

Error: Failed to destroot zsh: command execution failed Error: See /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_macports_release_tarballs_ports_shells_zsh/zsh/main.log

i've tried using bash (bash-3.2) to install as well as the default zsh shell.
