Description
Error: Cannot install qwt for the arch 'arm64' because Error: its dependency qt4-mac only supports the archs 'ppc ppc64 i386 x86_64'.
OS: Ventura 13.0 Chip: Apple M1 Pro

Indeed, Qt 4 does not have Apple Silicon support. So the qwt ports should at least default to +qt5 on those systems, if not hide the older qt variants entirely. (In fact maybe it should just default to +qt5 everywhere?)
