Can you provide the installer log, please? We've had one other report of this (#66626) but were not provided with any additional details there.

When you are in the Installer, you can choose Installer Log from the Window menu. You can click the Save button at the top right of the toolbar, or choose Save… from the File menu, to save it to disk. At least that's how it looks in Catalina; it's possible Apple redesigned it by Ventura.

I'm not the original reporter but I'm getting the same error. Here's my installer log:

Searching for this error message, I found this forum thread with some suggestions.

One user said reinstalling Ventura fixed it. That seems like a pain so maybe try that last if the other suggestions don't work.

One user said moving the installer package from the Downloads folder to the Applications folder before trying to open it worked.

One user said the problem was that they were using Dropbox, which takes over the Downloads, Documents, and Desktop folders, so they suggest moving the installer package anywhere but those locations.

Let us know what worked!
