Description
currently developing on Inkscape and they are asking for a package install for gtkmm4, would be great to have an updated port from gtkmm3 to gtkmm4!

Well... we have a gtkmm port at 2.24.5 and a gtkmm3 port at 3.24.9. Presumably gktmm was not simply updated to version 3 because it would have broken things. Updating to version 4 would presumably break things too. Therefore what I think you're asking for is the creation of a new gtkmm4 port.
