Hallo same problem by me using macos catalina 10.15 Darwin version major 19 . But the port can't be parsed due to a kind of version conflict.

This is actually happening on macOS 14 as well.

Running on macOS 14.6.1, I get similar output when cleaning all ports:

Error: Unable to open port rust-bootstrap: rust_build.version (1.77.0) must be newer than rust_build.stage0_versions (1.79.0 1.78.0)

"rust-bootstrap" I had never installed.

rust_build pg: turn parse failure into warning

rust-bootstrap is probably still broken.

It still prints these warnings when using port info rust-bootstrap, e.g.:

% port info --version rust-bootstrap
Warning: rust_build.version (1.77.0) must be newer than rust_build.stage0_versions (1.91.0 1.90.0)
Warning: rust_build.version (1.77.0) must be newer than rust_build.stage0_versions (1.91.0 1.90.0)
version: 1.77.0

Ports should never print warnings when running port info.

It's also unclear what a user should do with information given in the warning.
