Just a head's up: The version of Amarok on MacPorts website, 2.6.0, is very obsolete by more than a decade (2012 to be precise), and does not work with modern macOS after Big Sur (likely not even Catalina?). I am unsure if there are any maintainers monitoring the development pipeline for MacPorts, or are in contact with the KDE devs working on Amarok, but the project for Linux has indeed been brought back after quite some time, and is in active development as of September 2024.
