No log was provided but we do see failure of this port on our macOS 14 and 15 builders so maybe it is the same problem:

the port was updated to version 4.2.0 and the py39 subport removed in 05c1bee1d998c702e03b1ce6f282171af76d6a40/macports-ports. If there are still issues with the package feel free to open a new ticket.
