Description

trying to open abaddon and im getting a gtk warning saying "cannot show display" any way to fix this?

Perhaps you did not install X server. Or installed but did not reboot. This is a gtk error, not abaddon error.

So please try the following:

  1. Get rid of other-vendor X server installations (whether from Apple or Xquartz), see: https://www.xquartz.org/FAQs.html
  2. Install xorg-server or xorg-server-legacy (for older macOS versions) port.
  3. Reboot (perhaps logging out and logging back should work, but I normally just reboot anyway).
  4. Try launching abaddon.

That is supposed to work correctly. If you still get some error, please post the complete output from the terminal.
