Description
I had a problem using yt-dlp earlier today. I checked the yt-dlp GitHub site. It seems that the issue has been fixed upstream, but when I tried to update my MacPorts the response was:
"All installed ports are up to date."

Sorry - I don't understand... I've run:
% sudo port upgrade outdated Nothing to upgrade.
And I've checked my installed & requested ports:
... yt-dlp @2025.02.19_0+ffmpeg+python313 (active)
How do I get the 2025.03.25 version?

Run sudo port selfupdate first.

Mmm... yeah, I had run it earlier, but must have run it before yt-dlp was patched.
Anyway - that took care of it!
Many Thanks!!!

It can take a couple hours between the time that a change is committed to the repository and the time that it is available on the rsync servers via selfupdate.
