#72666 assigned defect

CubicSDR did not work for me

Reported by: rpibkm Owned by: ra1nb0w

Description

Tried very hard but could not install it. The GUI interfase was ok, but a message window (see attached) said to go to a github wiki to read the Support Modules section for more information. After many attempts I gave up. I have a MacBook Pro (intel) running macOS Sequoia 15.5

Have you tried to install SoapyRTLSDR or one of the Soapy modules?

Yes, I did, and now it is working fine, thanks. The first Soapy module did not work, but the second did work. I guess I did not understand the instructions very well. It would be nice if you create a Port where all the necessary ports or modules are installed as a single port, and not in two or three sub-ports. The installation package for Raspberry Pi works very well (it is a single package), but the Port for macOS, does not work at the first attempt. CubicSDR is very nice overall.

PS: sorry it took me so long to reply, but your messages went to the Spam Folder, and I just found them today.
