Description

ps2eps-1.68

The portfile can be found attached.

Description: A Portfile to install Roland Bless's Postscript to EPS conversion utility. Unlike other utilities such as ps2epsi, this program creates an EPS file with a bounding box that is suitable for inserting figures into documents. It is extremely useful for creating EPS files for figures to be included in TeX/LaTeX documents.

Homepage: http://www.tm.uka.de/~bless/ps2eps

Comments: It seems to work OK on my machine, but this is my first Portfile attempt. It would be helpful if someone could test and review it. Note that no Makefile or configuration utilities are included with the source. Only one file needs to be compiled (bbox); the others are Perl scripts (ps2eps) and man pages. Depends on ghostscript and Perl being installed to run.
