sudo port -vd install libbonoboui
checking pkg-config is at least version 0.9.0... yes checking for BONOBOUI... configure: error: Package requirements (libgnomecanvas-2.0 >= 1.116.0 libbonobo-2.0 >= 2.13.0 libgnome-2.0 >= 2.13.7 bonobo-activation-2.0 >= 2.13.0 libxml-2.0 >= 2.4.20 gconf-2.0 >= 1.1.9 gtk+-2.0 >= 2.6.0 gobject-2.0 >= 2.6.0) were not met:
Package libbonobo-2.0 was not found in the pkg-config search path. Perhaps you should add the directory containing `libbonobo-2.0.pc' to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable No package 'libbonobo-2.0' found
Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you installed software in a non-standard prefix.
Alternatively, you may set the environment variables BONOBOUI_CFLAGS and BONOBOUI_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config. See the pkg-config man page for more details.

Fixed in CVS.
However, please test to make sure that libbonobo portfile is not already installed first. GConf should not have installed either without libbonobo being installed first, and I see that the libbonoboui install did not complain about gconf not being installed as well.
Even though I am marking this bug fixed, if the new port file does not solve your problems, please reopen this bug.
