error from 'port installed' when no port are installed

Description

I have a 17" Intel iMac running a version of Mac OS after 10.4.5. I installed DP by downloading the latest Tiger (Universal) version's dmg. I thought this had something to do with Intel, but it may not.

I did a 'port installed' and got an error.

% port installed No ports are installed! can't read "ilist": no such variable

while executing

"llength $ilist"

("installed" arm line 27) invoked from within

"switch -- $action {

help {

print_help

}

info {

require_portlist foreachport $portlist {

# Get information about the named port if {[..."

(file "/opt/local/bin/port" line 1187)

%

I then tried an install of a port (watch, to be precise) and it worked. Then I did a 'port installed' and it did not give an error.

This bug has been fixed. I tested a fresh install of MacPorts 1.3 and it properly reports "No ports are installed".
