I've got the same error on my MacBook Pro. Here is the output.

Using Google I found this site http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1505098&group_id=14007&atid=114007

There must be a problem with swig 1.3.29 and py-libpcap. I uninstalled 1.3.29 and installed swig 1.3.27 from source. Once I installed it, I was able to compile py-libpcap from source.

I tried reverting to swig by editing my swig portfile for darwinports (2 lines to change) version 1.3.27 checksums sha1 21e2953078fcf26080cfb944f226887da8bdc70e

And then everything compiles fine ( clean swig, reinstall and install scapy (that depends on py-libpcap)).

Will commit a fix that doesn't need to revert SWIG.
