Note that the users on IRC are dispersed across multiple timezones around the globe and might have day jobs, so don't get frustrated and leave if nobody answers right away. Hanging around and waiting a couple of hours will usually get you an answer. And if it doesn't, there still are our [MailingLists mailing lists].

== RocketChat

As a more modern alternative, the same channel is also bridged with a bot to an instance of RocketChat on https://chat.macports.org/. You can register and login to this service with your GitHub account.
