| | 5 | The lack of a built-in system to log installation and build problems is a significant barrier to implementation of an automated package build system. Additionally, a centralized system for handling problems recorded by a logging system is necessary to efficiently facilitate bug assignments and tracking. |

| | 7 | Therefore over the summer of 2008 I will work to implement a logging facility as introduced in [wiki:jmpp jmpp's] [wiki:LoggingProposal proposal], as well as possibly assist in extending MPWA to handle error reports submitted by users. |
