Description

This portfile patch updates the ​Chicken Scheme compiler (lang/chicken) to the latest stable release, version 2.5.

The patch also adds some default configure options in order to build a full-featured Chicken system by default, while introducing three variants that can be used to trim off features that may not be needed in some special situations.
