openmotift1lib failure workaround

I was able to get openmotif to install (see previous ticket) on os x 10.4.10 intel (macbook pro) by using variant universal I did a selfupdate for insurance but reported that no update needed.

$ sudo port -v selfupdate $ sudo port clean openmotif ---> Cleaning openmotif $ sudo port install openmotif +universal ---> Fetching openmotif ---> Verifying checksum(s) for openmotif ---> Extracting openmotif ---> Configuring openmotif ---> Building openmotif with target all ---> Staging openmotif into destroot ---> Installing openmotif 2.3.0_2+darwin_8+universal ---> Activating openmotif 2.3.0_2+darwin_8+universal ---> Cleaning openmotif

then when is continued installing xpdf it worked

I don't understand, what's the problem there? Which is that previous ticket you are talking about?
