this patch appears to have placed patches in "port dir firefox-x11"/www/firefox-x11/files. copied files to "port dir firefox-x11"/files. after this firefox-x11 complied and ran under gnome w/quartz-wm on Leopard-OS10.5/Intel. Patch could be commited if paths fixed. ....and if I misunderstand this please email me :)
note that firefox 2.0.0.9 is available now.

I can confirm the bug and that the patch worked for me... had to apply the patch from the main port dir (since it looks for a nested ./www/firefox-x11 directory). But minus that one little thing, applying the patch resulted in a successful build.
