libao build failure

Description
libao port fails to build at least on Leopard. Attached patch gets it working again. I am aware that it reverts the AU stuff, but I am mostly interested in something that works, and will let someone else work out the AU stuff if it matters to them. Since the port is unmaintained I think "working" is a worthy goal.
