#16052 closed defect (invalid)
qt4-mac 4.4.0 build does not complete on PPC Tiger

Description
Building of qt4-mac as part of qgit or py25-pyqt4 build does not complete after running for over 6 hours. Activity monitor showed gnumake and cc1plus activities. Plus a fair amount of disk write activities. Lots of free memory with no page out. 24G of free disk space. Only ports installed ahead of this was mercurial and git-core after wiping out /opt/local and re-installing MacPort 1.6.0 from disk image and after selfupdate.
No error messages. Just terminal output showing build line.
Environment: PowerPC Mac OS X 10.4.11 xCode 2.6

Thanks for your quick response. I have already re-started building just qt4-mac late this morning. It's still running. I can see cc1plus pop in and out with top. I will try to be patient.
My Mac is an older PowerMac with dual 800mhz PPC.

Closing due to lack of response.
If you see gnumake and cc1plus processes still running, it's probably still building. Which PowerPC, if it's older, this could take some time unfortunately?
You can use '
sudo port -v install ...' for some extra information as to what's going on, or 'sudo port -d install ...' for lots of information.
