here were a couple of places in the Portfile where line continuation was used unnecessarily. I went ahead and took the opportunity to make the use of indentation and spacing consistent throughout the file, remove unnecessary line continuations, and add all three file signatures. I also noticed that the old homepage forwards to  http://www.gnu.org/software/octave, not the sourceforge page, so I updated that value. Finally, the distname and distsuffix commands were unnecessary because they are at default.

Since

use_bzip2	no

is the default value, I believe this line can be safely removed from the Portfile ?
