I'm seeing the following error when I apply the patch:

$ sudo patch -p0 Portfile patch-gimp2-Portfile.diff
patching file Portfile
Hunk #5 FAILED at 80.
1 out of 5 hunks FAILED -- saving rejects to file Portfile.rej

I verified that I had the latest Portfile from svn.

Also, is your email address correct in the portfile? It says "dbevans" but your email on this ticket is "db.evans".

Sorry for the foul-up. Am posting a new diff that works locally. As to the email, gmail now sees db.evans and dbevans as the same address and I've been trying to get rid of the dot. Thanks for the help.

Committed revision r40650. I fixed a typo on "webkit-gtk" which was spelled "gtk-webkit" in the patch. Thanks!

Not my day, I guess. Thanks again.

one more thing regarding help. without help build in, it gives you the option of going online and viewing the help. but when you click on it, it complains about not having GIO backend and gvfs should be installed. Looking at the configure script. it uses one of the 4 libs to connect to the web, gvfs, gnomefs, curl or wget. gvfs is the prefered method and it doesn't work. I'll try gnomefs, curl and wget and see which one takes you online for help. that also means that curl is an optional dependency. if gnomefs works then curl isn't needed.

more testing is needed to resolve this help issue.
