Description
Yesterday I did an update, and perl5.8 got updated to perl 5.8.9.
Today, I tried updating various ports, and in each case got a failure along the lines of
Error: Target org.macports.configure returned: configure failure: shell command " cd "/opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_gnome_gconf/work/GConf-2.24.0" && ./configure --prefix=/opt/local " returned error 1 ... checking for XML::Parser... configure: error: XML::Parser perl module is required for intltool
Now, p5-xml-parser is properly installed, and this all worked before. I suppose p5-xml-parser must just be in a place where perl 5.8.9 cannot find it.
I guess the same may be true for other perl modules too...
