The version of Parsec that comes with ghc is outdated. This port installs the newest version of Parsec.

There's a new PortGroup that should make this portfile much easier.

Thanks, that is easier. Since I can't replace the original file on this ticket, I've provided a patch file that modifies the Portfile to use the haskell PortGroup.
