kdenetwork4 kopete jabber protocol is missing

There are a lot of protocols availabe in kopete, but jabber is missing.

How? Can you tell me what needs to be installed to enabled it?

according to ​http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/KDE/kdenetwork/kopete/protocols/CMakeLists.txt?view=markup the jabbes support is disabled either if --with-jabber was not placed in the args or libidn-devel(​http://www.gnu.org/software/libidn/) is missing.

I just was able to get jabber in kopete. It would be nice to add qca-tls to the list of dependencies in order to make gtalk protocol working

couldn't get jabber to compile (kdenetwork 4.2.0) so it's disabled. You should report upstream to kopete mailing list. There is no libidn-devel port.

I have already reported this to upstream and got the fix for it before. Yes, this works for MacPorts too, working with this patch the whole time ;)

Fixed in r46791. How's that for service? :-) You'll need to run kbuildsycoca4 before it shows up in the protocol list.
