While trying to build poco 1.3.4 I encountered a build error that looks identical to #19107: defect: poco 1.3.2 build failure. This is the build log: 

make -C /opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_devel_poco/work/poco-1.3.4-all/XML
