MacPorts supports Tiger, regardless of platform.

Version: 1.7.1

Let's keep the version number in the ticket so we know what version of MacPorts the user was using when they encountered the error.

Unfortunately the LLVM project does not seem to support darwin8. This ticket should be closed.

llvm doesn't support darwin8.

macporters, clangsters,

If anyone is interested in helping to revive a powerpc-darwin8 port of llvm/clang, I've got a good head start on a fink-package, that contains bunch of patches and tweaks for release 3.0, and svn-trunk. Anyone else welcome to copy my changes over to macport-land, I would love to collaborate!

It builds, but has some codegen issues, and fails some tests. Much debugging needed.
