Hello,
User defined functions are not enabled in GrADS2.
$ grads-2 ga-> query udft Warning: User Defined Functions have been disabled in this version of GrADS
$ port version Version: 1.710
$ port info grads2 grads2 @2.0.a5.oga.5, Revision 1 (science)

User defined functions are not enabled in GrADS2.
$ grads-2 ga-> query udft Warning: User Defined Functions have been disabled in this version of GrADS
This is not the port bug. As the error message says it is not yet available in GrADS 2.
