mplayer build fails on 10.6/snow leopard

Description
Build fails, in new and different ways from other failed builds of mplayer. Appears to be generating invalid assembly.

judging from all the tickets about mplayer, I don't think it builds for anyone.

I was able to get mplayer to build (outside of macports) on 10.6 using this post to mplayer-users http://lists.mplayerhq.hu/pipermail/mplayer-users/2009-September/077726.html
I also blogged about the process, as I had to reinstall some libs to get it to work: http://blog.bloople.net/read/mplayer-on-snow-leopard

Patch for mplayer-devel Portfile. Probably not a proper patch. Changing checkout rules probably breaks other platforms, but works on Snow Leopard. If SDL is still broken, use -sdl variant.

Patch for mplayer-devel Portfile. Probably not a proper patch. Changing checkout rules probably breaks other platforms, but works on Snow Leopard. If SDL is still broken, use -sdl variant.
This patchfile worked for me, using this: sudo port install mplayer +osd +fribidi +smb +xvid +x264 +binary_codecs +aa +caca
Running the x86_64 snow leopard kernel.

It still doesn't work in building for MacPorts package when I applied your patch to config.h.

This works for me to on SL.
