#21228 closed defect (worksforme)

libiconv fails checksum

Reported by: bloosqr@… Owned by: macports-tickets@…
Priority: Normal Milestone:
Component: ports Version: 1.8.0
Keywords: Cc:
Port: libiconv

Description (last modified by mf2k (Frank Schima))

Installing libiconv on snow leopard causes the following md5(etc) checksum errors:

--->  Computing dependencies for libiconv
--->  Verifying checksum(s) for libiconv
Error: Checksum (md5) mismatch for libiconv-1.13.tar.gz
Error: Checksum (sha1) mismatch for libiconv-1.13.tar.gz
Error: Checksum (rmd160) mismatch for libiconv-1.13.tar.gz
Error: Target org.macports.checksum returned: Unable to verify file checksums
Error: Status 1 encountered during processing.

This causes a lot of dependencies that depend on libiconv to fail.

I just wiped out /opt/local and it seems to install and compile fine now. I am not sure what happened... am installing gnome..
